God is God and I am not, It doesn’t all depend on me, and learning patience in God’s timing. All daily struggles for me and lessons I continue to learn. It’s good to hear other’s perspectives and know we aren’t alone. These aren’t things we learn over a season but over a lifetime. Good stuff. Thanks!
I love Hauerwas. Resident Aliens was a pivotal book for me. If you were to ask either of my daughters, “What are you?” they would probably respond, “I’m a resident alien.” Thanks for the clip.
That’s funny Ron… I like that: “resident alien.” You know if I use that term for myself it is doubly accurate. I am a resident alien as a Christian living on earth but I am also literally a resident alien from Micronesia residing in the US of A. LOL
