The following is a perfect example of engaging culture through the arts.  This is what New Wine is about. Redemptive engagement…

  1. I’m not even half way through this and I am experiencing feelings I’ve never experienced before. I want to cry, laugh, throw up and hyperventilate all at once. This like a hybrid of Lil’ Waybe,T-Pain and Michael W. Smith. Is this for real? Oh my. Once again, your post leaves me speechless. It’s humbling, really. I’m hittin’ up B-Shoc for real, yo.

  2. It is shocking B,
I’ve can assuredly say that I have never been happier that today is April 1st.

  3. now we are talking… something worth blogging about! i love how B-Shoc engaged the old folks center to literally shake things up. if only i had the courage to be as counter-cultural. what a blessing.

  4. I actually watched the whole video. I enjoyed it so much that afterwards I went to b-shoc.com. Now I’m on his mailing list. This just goes to show that sometimes it’s not about the type of music we mesh best with, but it’s the message found in the music that has the ability to cross any cultural barrier. Grandpa was Christ like Crusin by the end of the video. How cool is that? Does anyone know if b-shoc is single? I want to ask him out.

  5. Yeah, boy! That’s what I call engagement! “I’m gonna roll up in your neighborhood and make you feel it!” Is it too late to get B-Shock at our conference this weekend?

  6. If Jesus can ride “shot-gun” with you and me with our “questionable” driving style and and less than perfect attitude and etiquette, don’t you think he would hang with B-Shock while he bumps some “Jesus Jams” from his trunk? Remember the Gospel according to C. Underwood, “Jesus take the Wheel”? “So Turn it Up . . . Dome, Dome, Dome . . . turn it up!”

  7. a small part of me liked that video, and the vast majority of me is glad that most rappers that are followers of Christ are nothing so cheesy as that. Tell me he’s not for real …please…..ahhhhhhhh
